Navi Mumbai has received a total of 2,695.90mm of precipitation so far this season, according to data shared by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) on Wednesday.
The NMMC update also reported that Belapur received 57.70mm of rain while Nerul, Vashi, Khoparkhairne and Airoli received 64.90mm, 88.00mm, 94.60mm and 63.70mm respectively. . The average rainfall received from 8:30 a.m. Tuesday to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday by Navi Mumbai was 73.78 mm.
Weather forecast suggests that high tide will start at 12:48 p.m. in Navi Mumbai today and the waves will reach a height of 4.56 meters. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Wednesday that moderate rainfall is likely in Mumbai. The IMD in its 24-hour forecast predicted moderate rainfall in the city and suburbs with the possibility of heavy rainfall in isolated locations.
IMD said on Wednesday that the island city, eastern and western suburbs recorded 30.74mm, 64.97mm and 64.05mm of rain, respectively, in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, a high tide of 4.56 meters is expected at 12:48 p.m. in Mumbai today. In addition, a low tide of 0.72 meters is likely to occur at 6:52 p.m. today.
