CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Crazy to say after waiting for so long for fall weather – but we’re heading into the ’80s again.
- Stockings tonight in the 40s
- The 80s are in our forecast
- The rain is always hard to come
Tonight will be another cool. If you turned the heat on last night, you might want to keep it on for an extra night or two. You may also be tempted to turn on the air conditioning in the afternoon. Tonight and Tuesday night there will be lows in the mid-1940s.
Tomorrow will take us back to the mid-70s for the summits. Then it gets even hotter on Wednesday and Thursday. In fact, it is predicted that we will reach 80 ° each afternoon. The risk of rain is almost zero.
A weak cold front will move from Thursday to Friday. There is a chance of rain but it is small. There is a 20% chance from Thursday evening to Friday. Temperatures will technically get cooler, but it still won’t look much like fall. The peaks will be in the mid-70s from Friday to weekend. The overnight lows will be back in the mid-1950s, putting us out of the race for weekend frost.
Next Monday, a model keeps us dry, but another gives us at least a chance to rain. Since we are over 3 â³ behind the precipitation, let’s hope for some.
Make it a great night out!
